A lot can change in a year.  For Shannon Longfield, 365 days of discipline and hard work led to losing 98 pounds, eliminating 6 medications, and nearly eliminating Lupus symptoms.

In February 2017, Shannon entered Hellroaring CrossFit with stiff joints, difficulty doing basic movements, and uncertainty.  She quickly found a warm community and an inspiring coach who championed her goals and desire to pursue a healthier life.

Alan Stengel Sheds 100 Pounds and Counting with CrossFit

About a year ago, Alan Stengel peaked at 320lbs.  Lethargy, difficulty completing simple tasks, and random pains and anxiety constantly drained his energy.

Feeling trapped in his own body, Alan finally decided to make a change.  Reuniting with some friends at an engagement party, he learned about CrossFit from a friend.  With a little convincing, Alan did his first partner WOD and was immediately hooked.

In hardly 12 months, Alan has shed over 100 pounds and gotten into the best shape of his life.  He is embracing his newfound health by climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness and money to fund college tuition for students in Kenya.
