Same awesome tape, different way to use it. Our HookGrip tape provides pre-cut strips sized to protect weightlifters thumbs when using the hookgrip technique. We’ve taken a standard 5cm (2”) x 5m (16’) roll of RockTape and pre-cut 32 150mm strips that easily tear off for quick use. That means less time taping, and more time lifting!
What is Hook Grip?
Hook grip is a method of shifting your thumb from a traditional overhand grip to better utilize biomechanics and transfer more power into your body movements.
It's as simple as gripping with your thumb wrapped begin the barbell and remaining fingers.
What is HookGrip tape?
HookGrip Tape is designed to keep your thumbs protected and maintain a strong grip during Olympic and other weightlifting movements.
It's made out of material similar to athletic tape and RockTape kinesiology tape.
What are the Benefits of HookGrip Tape?
