Buy Titan lever arms for the exact rack family and generation, then check anchoring and movement clearance. T-3, X-3 and TITAN Series arm sets have different brackets; they are not interchangeable because the manufacturer name matches. Titan recommends using the arms only with a bolted-down rack. The T-3/X-3 leg-press attachment requires a separate compatible arm pair.
Comparisons are based on manufacturer specifications and published product information. US product information checked October 21, 2026. We have not conducted hands-on testing. Prices are dated equipment examples, before tax and any delivery or installation costs.

| Current arm pair / checked price | Exact family and mounting limit | Dimensions / manufacturer ratings | Required extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| T-3 Adjustable Lever Arms, SKU 400847 $284.97 |
T-3 rack family; explicitly excludes T-3 racks purchased before October 2021. | 39 in arms; 11.5 in posts, 50 mm sleeves; 32 mm grips; 30 lb per arm; 600 lb per arm stated rating. | Compatible bolted-down rack, suitable plates/retention; supported bench or other equipment for planned movements. |
| X-3 Adjustable Lever Arms, SKU 400848 $314.97 |
X-3 family only; verify the exact base/configuration. | 39 in arms; 11 in posts, 50 mm sleeves; 32 mm grips; 45 lb per arm; 600 lb per arm stated rating. | Same basket checks. A flat-foot rack label does not waive Titan’s bolted-down lever-arm recommendation. |
| TITAN Series Adjustable Lever Arms, SKU 400849 $299.97 |
TITAN Series rack family; distinct from X-3 despite nominal 3×3 uprights. | 39 in arms; 11.25 in posts, 49 mm sleeves; 32 mm grips; 42 lb per arm; 600 lb per arm stated rating. | Exact matching rack, anchoring, compatible plates/collars and required exercise supports. |
Compatibility requires more than tube size
The pin-on bracket must fit the upright profile, hole size, mounting face, pin engagement and hole centers. The T-3’s rectangular uprights differ from the square X-3. The TITAN Series uses its own bracket/pin interface. Never use a loose pin, drill an improvised interface or assume a cross-brand fit based on a forum build.
For an older rack, confirm its purchase date and generation from the order or original manual. Current T-3 arms explicitly exclude pre-October-2021 racks. The conversion bracket sold for older X-3 arms is not proof that every older arm or rack can use every current accessory. Obtain the maker’s exact compatibility confirmation.
If you are still choosing a rack, the T-3 vs X-3 model comparison shows an equal-depth complete basket rather than comparing bare frame prices.
Mounting and movement clearance
- Anchor first. Titan recommends a bolted-down rack for lever-arm use. Verify the substrate, anchors and rack instructions; stored plates are not a demonstrated equivalent.
- Install the matched pair as instructed. The manuals identify the bracket, hinge hardware, handle assembly, plate holder and retaining pins. Reposition with the arms unloaded and supported.
- Trace the whole arc. The 39-inch arm length is not a complete depth requirement. Add bracket geometry, handles, the plate radius, body position and room to load both sides.
- Check other rack functions. Arms may occupy the same upright holes or forward area used for J-cups, safeties, a bench or access. Storage and changeover can be the deciding cost.
- At the uprightBracket and pins engage the exact matching holes.
- Across the swingArm, loaded plate and handle clear rack, floor and body.
- Around the stationLeave loading, entry, bench and emergency-exit access.
Leg-press attachment: what you must already own
Titan’s Lever Arm Leg Press, SKU 400485, is a cross-connecting footplate attachment for the T-3 and X-3 system. Its current page states the lever arms are required and sold separately. The 47.5-inch overall width and 37.5 × 11.5-inch footplate do not establish fit on a different rack width. Do not assume TITAN Series compatibility; the listing names T-3 and X-3.

| Existing setup | Additional checked equipment | Equipment subtotal |
|---|---|---|
| Compatible, appropriately anchored T-3 rack; no arms | T-3 pair $284.97 + leg-press attachment $169.97 | $454.94 |
| Compatible, appropriately anchored X-3 rack; no arms | X-3 pair $314.97 + leg-press attachment $169.97 | $484.94 |
| Compatible arms already owned | Leg-press attachment $169.97 | $169.97, after exact compatibility confirmation |
Add suitable plates, collars, maker-supported body/bench arrangement, anchoring or installation work, delivery and tax. The attachment’s 1,200 lb rating and arm pair’s per-arm ratings do not make the rack or whole leg-press setup a certified 1,200 lb system. The lowest applicable component limit and intended configuration govern.
Should you buy them?
Buy a matched pair when you will use the lever pattern frequently, can anchor the rack and can accommodate the complete swing/loading area. Skip or defer when repeated changeovers would block your main squat/bench setup, when compatibility is unresolved or when you mainly want a dedicated leg press. Compare standalone leg press and hack squat machines before turning a rack into a station it was not configured to support.
Plate weight is not equal to hand force: pivot distance and handle position change the mechanical relationship through the arc. Do not translate a barbell load or another machine’s stack number directly into a first lever-arm working weight.
