Choose a rope size before ordering. This is a conditioning rope system, not a speed-rope replacement.
Crossrope Get Lean 2023
Slim handles plus ¼ lb and ½ lb interchangeable ropes. Choose your required rope size and confirm the current seller before ordering.
Check Crossrope Get Lean on AmazonA weighted jump rope can put mass in the rotating cord, in the handles or in both. Those configurations feel different. A heavy handle does not make the moving rope heavy, and a product’s total mass cannot be compared directly with another brand’s rope-only weight. This guide covers conditioning ropes; the speed-rope guide serves double-under-focused purchases.

| Exact product | Where the weight is | Length / connection | Starter and expansion cost |
|---|---|---|---|

| Elite Jumps Muay Thai 3.0 | Maker labels 1.5 lb total between handles and cord; each handle listed at 3.5 oz. | 10 ft, adjustable; 12 mm rubber/PVC blend cord with string core. 5 in aluminum handles with silicone grips and dual bearings. | $64.99 observed item price; bag not included. | Handle-weighted category | Mass primarily in handles rather than the cord; check whether the stated weight includes one handle or both. | Often paired with a light cable; adjustment and replacement differ by exact model. | Do not buy as a substitute for a heavy-cord rope solely because the package advertises the same pounds. |
Normalize the labels before comparing resistance
Elite’s nominal 1.5 lb total is 24 oz; two stated 3.5 oz handles account for 7 oz, leaving approximately 17 oz for the cord and remaining assembly. This is label arithmetic, not a weighed rope measurement. Crossrope’s 1/2 lb describes its rope rather than a 1/2 lb complete set. The two “weights” therefore are not like-for-like.
A rotating heavy cord supplies different feedback from weights held near the hands. Your cadence, arc and technique affect the workload. We do not infer a calorie multiplier or promise fat loss from either weight label. A heavier rope can also shorten practical sets; more mass is not automatically the right starting point.
Measure the bay and choose a reversible size
Crossrope recommends 10 ft front-to-back × 7 ft side-to-side, with ceiling clearance roughly matching rope length and no overhead obstructions. Its published examples list 8 ft for Small, 8 ft 6 in for Medium, 9 ft for Large and about 9 ft 6 in for XL. These are manufacturer screening guidelines, not measurements of your swing. Clear garage-door rails, lights and nearby people as well as the ceiling.
Classic Crossrope ropes are selected by size; they are not an ordinary cable to trim with cutters. Elite’s Muay Thai 3.0 starts at 10 ft and can be shortened. Its page gives inconsistent upper user-height descriptions, 6 ft 3 in and 6 ft 4 in; a tall buyer should confirm fit rather than rely on the more generous figure. Keep any adjustment reversible until your hand position and cadence are repeatable.
Surface, maintenance and replacements
Rough concrete abrades a cord. A suitable jumping surface and a clear bay can matter more than an extra rope weight. Crossrope recommends a mat to prolong rope life. Inspect the cord coating and the handle connection; replace a worn cord with the correct generation and connector. Do not assume an interchangeable system shares connectors with another brand or with every old model.
Choose Get Lean when you want two moderate rope weights and a documented replacement ecosystem. Choose Muay Thai 3.0 when an adjustable, substantially heavier complete rope suits shorter conditioning intervals. Keep a speed rope when efficient double-unders are the actual goal.
Separate equipment cost from optional connected features
Get Lean’s observed $129 starter set includes handles and both ropes. Its direct-store free-shipping threshold was $200; a standalone direct order may therefore add shipping and tax. With an illustrative separately listed $129 mat, equipment subtotal would be $258 before any bundle discount, delivery or tax. A mat is not mandatory solely because the brand sells one. Price a replacement rope and the complete starter set separately.
The verified Amazon offer was X-Small, sold by ZQUARED and shipped by Amazon, with purchase controls shown. Confirm your required size and current seller; this is not a claim that every size is available. The Classic rope works without a paid app subscription. Premium workout access and connected AMP features are separate choices; do not accept a trial as a necessary hardware cost.
