Choose Titan’s Preacher Curl Bench V3 when you want a dedicated station; choose Ironmaster’s Preacher Curl Pad when you already own a compatible Super Bench. Buying the entire Ironmaster system solely for curls costs more than the pad price suggests. If you only need supported biceps work, try a concentration curl before buying either.

1. Titan V3: a dedicated station without a bench ecosystem

The station occupies 31.5 in wide × 37 in deep and is 35 in high. Its 73 lb product weight is a handling consideration, not a measured stability score. The adjustable seat changes your relationship to the arm pad; Titan does not publish an adjustable pad-angle range on this page.

Choose it if curls deserve permanent floor space and the seat/pad relationship fits you. Skip it if you need a folding station, a documented adjustable pad angle or a bench that also supports pressing. The J-hook rating does not tell you whether your particular curl bar clears the pad.

2. Ironmaster: the sensible attachment for an existing owner

The 24-inch pad supports bilateral curls, while three selectable angles let you change the setup. Use the compatible Super Bench connection and pull pin; do not assume another brand's receiver is approved because its tubing looks similar. The pad's price excludes the bench and resistance.

Choose it if you already have the supported bench and want to avoid another station. Skip it if your bench is incompatible or you need independently documented pad-height adjustment. Ironmaster lists a 120 lb hook limit and warns that heavy weight at the front can tip the bench when unoccupied. Read its loading and setup instructions before using the hooks.

Complete cost: avoid the $139 versus $411 trap

With no compatible bench, Ironmaster's two-product starting basket is $588, versus Titan's observed $410.97 station. The $177.03 difference excludes the implement and any differing delivery or installation cost. For an existing Ironmaster owner, the relevant comparison is a $139 incremental attachment versus another whole station.

Both pages offered ordering at the source check; availability remains a checkout decision. A complete barbell setup adds a compatible bar, matched plates and collars. A dumbbell setup adds an appropriate dumbbell. Check the manufacturer's floor/anchoring instructions, not just the shopping-cart subtotal.

Compare exact preacher setups on Amazon — search results

When a preacher bench earns its space

A preacher pad supports the upper arm in front of the torso. That changes the exercise setup; it does not guarantee better results than every other curl. Start conservatively, lower under control, and avoid bouncing into the bottom position or forcing elbow lockout.

If the goal is a substitution rather than a purchase, use our preacher curl alternatives by equipment and support. Compare general-purpose benches or adjustable dumbbell systems when those are the actual gaps in your training.
